Redefining Work Reports: Key Takeaways from Greenhouse's 2023 Candidate Experience Report
This episode of Redefining Work Report breaks down Greenhouse’s 2023 Candidate Experience Report with the help of Greenhouse Chief People Officer, Donald Knight.
Last week Greenhouse dropped their 2023 Candidate Experience Report. It’s based on surveys from 1,200 US-based employees and includes a range of data that’s worth your time (link below).
I dug into the report and spotlighted some of the key findings, including what they mean for recruiting, in this week’s Redefining Work Reports. 🎧
Greenhouse’s Chief People Officer Donald Knight also added his perspective on key takeaways and particular findings that stood out to him from the report.
Noteworthy Stats Include:
RTO: The majority (76%) would actively search for or be open to a new job if their company rolled back flexible work policies.
Operating Models: The data reveals that inflexible companies will struggle to hire top talent – 42% of candidates will not apply for a role that doesn't offer their preferred working model.
Pay Transparency: Almost half (43%) are more likely to apply to jobs with a salary range.
Candidate Experience x DEIB: Underrepresented candidates face an almost 25% higher chance of being ghosted in the hiring process.
4-Day Work Week: The four-day workweek is compelling to candidates, and over half (56%) would apply to a job that offers it.
