A 20-year dream rekindled—Joy Syndicate blends intentional design and sustainability into a minimalist fashion line built for living, not trends.
In 2002, I came close to launching a fashion brand. The name, the sketches, the spark—it was all there. But the timing? Not so much. Life had other plans, and while I didn’t know it then, I wasn’t ready.
But the idea never left me.
It lingered in the background like an old melody you can’t shake. It resurfaced at the oddest moments—flipping through an old notebook, watching a friend create something beautiful, browsing fashion on Pinterest, or just walking the dog on a quiet morning.
Some ideas take longer to marinate. They need space. They need time.

When I wound down the Redefining Work podcast and the Amplify Talent community, and put Amplify Talent on hiatus, it gave me space. Space to think. Space to dream. Space to (re)discover.
In that space, I reconnected this original spark—only now, through a new lens.
A lens shaped by two decades of experience, lessons learned, clarity gained, and a deeper understanding of how I want to build.
The name came to me during a walk—“Joy Syndicate.” It felt right. Not just a brand name, but a vibe. A mindset. A collective.
At first, it was more of a personal journey. A commitment to being more intentional about joy—finding it, seeking it, making space for it.
But it grew.
It connected with this idea from twenty years ago and grew into a concept for a brand rooted in minimalism, sustainability, and simplicity.
The geometric heart logo you’ll see on our pieces? It’s not just a design—it’s a statement. It represents the balance I try to strike in everything we create: structure and emotion, form and feeling. It’s a heart, yes—but it’s also a network of intentional lines—a syndicate of connection.
It represents how joy is often found through connection to others.
