great post Lars.

one of the most interesting observations I've read about the whole 'influencer' business model is that at first you own the audience, but then the audience will inevitably own you. Takes huge courage to take another path, and I salute you for it. That said, your voice has become valued part of the industry discourse and I would love to see you come back (on your own terms) with your new learnings from being back at the coalface.

hope we can catch up soon hombre

lol. Take it from a fellow student, what counts to you is most important.

Great post. That felt deep and personal, and yet still it resonates with what a lot of us are feeling about how discussions on social media has changed. Best of luck with the new role and team!

Relate to it. My journey was the other way around: first a book then suddenly your a thought leader.

Lars I have followed your work. Like the candor and authenticity. What matters is how you want to show up in the world and what you want to do or not want to do. We all evolve and stop playing meaningless games, rather spend time with close family and friends , pursue hobbies and live a quiet life. No one really talks about dark side of Creator Economy. Thank you for keeping it real.

Beautiful and highly relatable post Lars. In my own context, I have found myself gravitating towards an appreciation and deep desire of being an activist practitioner on the inside.

Good luck and thanks Hung for sharing this in Brainfood.

Relatable post. I struggle with the thought leader label. Is it influencing people what to think or encouraging them to think for themselves?

I aim for the second, but mostly see the former.
